Digital Agenda: Thursday, 1/16 and Friday, 1/17!


Do Now (10 mins):

First, write you homework in your Agenda.
1. Finish you persuasive essay graphic organizer

Write the sentence and answer on p. 1L of your Interactive Notebook.  
  1. Write as many different sentences as you can using the word fall(s).

Trace and evaluate the argument and specific claims in a text, distinguishing claims that are supported by reasons and evidence from claims that are not by reading a persuasive text and filling out a graphic organizer.

    3. Open the article "Big Buses Red Lights"
    4. Read & Listen to the Vocabulary
    5. As you read each paragraph, STOP and fill in at least 1 sentence in the SETTING THE PURPOSE box.  This WILL be copy and pasted into your Thought Question, and will be graded.
    6. On the Thought Question, remember to click on "Include in Your Answer" so you can get a 3 or 4 score.
    7. Next, do the Stretch Article and Activities!
