Do Now (10 mins):

1. Finish Benchmark 2 Practice Packet
2. iPad Persuasive essay (Advisory)
3. All make-ups, re-takes, and late work due Friday, 12/13.

Write your answers on p. 52L of your Interactive Notebook, refer to your Glossary to refresh your memory.  
  1. What is personification?  Write your own example of personification.
  2. What is hyperbole?  Write your own example of hyperbole.

describe the connotation of a word using context with 75% accuracy on the Do Now.

evaluate the standards in which they need more practice and participate in differentiated group instruction to review those concepts.

use Google Docs to  type a 5 paragraph persuasive essay and peer edit by providing a partner feedback using comments and take a Benchmark Pre-Test to determine review focus standards(Independent Station)
