Do Now (10 mins):

First, copy your homework in your Agenda:

1. Read the article and activity for "Good-Deed Dogs" on TeenBiz3000.

Write the sentence and answer on p. 49L of your Interactive Notebook.  Explain how you figured out which homophone to include in your answer.  Fill in each sentence with sent/cent/scent.

2. Log in using your blastla.org account info
3. Open your "Cell Phones Persuasive Essay"
4. Finish typing your counterargument paragraph
5. Follow this link to teenbiz3000.com
6. Type your username and password
7. Start the lesson for the daily article called "Cars are Changing India"
8. Read & Listen to the Vocabulary
9. As you read each paragraph, STOP and fill in at least 1 sentence in the SETTING THE PURPOSE box.  This WILL be copy and pasted into your Thought Question, and will be graded.
10. When you do the ACTIVITY, refer back to the article for answers by opening it in a side-by-side screen.
11. On the Thought Question, remember to click on "Include in Your Answer" so you can get a 3 or 4 score.
12. Next, read the Poll Results.
13. After that, do the Math Activity.
14. Second to last, read the Stretc Article.
15. Last, complete the Stretch Activity.
